Infrared Group (IRG) is purpose-driven. We established with a specific mission in mind: Amplify the IR/Thermal "niche" of the gun industry to a foothold, whereas it is not considered a niche. Working through the start-up, delving deep into the fundamentals of product and merchandise development, we discovered further purpose.
MIL/LE, active and retired, deal with a barrage of mental health detriments. Daily stress, survivor's guilt, past injuries, and missing the job once retired. This equation and end-result is thoroughly known to those of us who deal with a battle every day in our heads but fail to put a voice to it. Specifically, men in the fields previously mentioned, are unable to seek what we need to end the battles. We know far too well how to wash the demons down, how to hide emotion, saying, "living the dream" when asked how we are doing. The feeling of helplessness and hopelessness is shared amongst a multitude of people, including you, and I, as I write this.
IRG founders identified further purpose beyond developing solutions for combat and hunting. Once standing where many are right now, feeling alone and unable to be understood, unfortunately is not a strange feeling. Fortunately, treatment and therapy was sought after, and continuous healing ensues. IRG is dedicated to establishing help, guidance, and healthy outlets for the men who also need to find a purpose beyond the invisible battle(s). Relief after conquering that internal war is a high we all deserve to feel.
